About the event
We will have another solemn Mass according to the Ordinariate's Divine Worship Missal at St. Vincent Ferrer, New York City to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Walsingham! The occasion features a program of some of the best choral music of the Anglican patrimony, now offered in the full communion of the Catholic Church, including the Communion Service in A & E by T. Tertius Noble (a past choirmaster of St. Thomas Episcopal Church on 5th Avenue).
This year's celebrant is Fr. Samuel Keyes (Pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA-an Ordinariate parish in the Philadelphia area). The preacher is Fr. Herman Majkrzak (Pastor of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Mishawaka, IN, and formerly choirmaster for St. John the Baptist).
This year's event takes place on the eve: Tuesday, September 23 at 7 pm. A reception will follow after the end of Mass.
