About the event
On October 9, 2025, we will celebrate the feast of St. John Henry Newman--the newest Doctor of the Church--with a solemn Mass according to the Ordinariate's Divine Worship Missal at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter & Paul, Philadelphia. This year's celebrant and preacher is Fr. Samuel Keyes, Pastor of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport, PA. We also welcome Gareth Haynes (Director of Music for St. Matthew's, Conshohocken) as our guest choir director for this year's occasion.
As usual, a reception will follow. The faithful will also have the opportunity to venerate a relic of St. John Henry Newman after the end of Mass.
